Synergy Rail was contracted by Siemens Mobility to establish a functional assurance regime for compliance evidence delivery in a progressive manner. The primary objective was to obtain approvals from London Underground for timely contract delivery at each stage. Siemens Mobility was awarded a £1.5 billion contract to design and construct the new Rolling Stock for the Deep Tube Lines.

Activities & Deliverables

  • Production of the Assurance Strategy for train development and acceptance
  • Production of the Interface Specifications with the LU Infrastructure Engaged with Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock for specialist Project and Programme Management or Engineering resources
  • Liaised with the Major Programmes team responsible for new UK rolling stock contracts from sales handover through warranty and handover into service
  • Adhered to Siemens project management methodology and delivered specific requirements aligned with Siemens' commitments to customers
