Engineering Assurance Services

Synergy Rail was contracted by Network Rail from GRIP 3 stage to develop and deliver a comprehensive System Assurance Service for the NR Western Trackside ETCS Level 2 Project. This included assuring the technical compliance of the ETCS system delivered by Alstom and its safe integration with the rest of the railway, covering CSM, ROGS, and RIR compliance.

Activities & Deliverables

The Synergy Rail team established an efficient and effective methodology to independently assure the technical compliance of the system delivered by Alstom, including Safety Verification, Interoperability Authorization and Product Acceptance and obtained APIS and NRAP approval to successfully commission in November 2023.
