Synergy Rail was contracted by the Skanska Consortium to provide support for their bid for an Infrastructure Renewals Framework, specifically focusing on the System Assurance Element.

Activities & Deliverables

The Synergy Rail Team provided valuable expertise and support to Skanska in addressing critical aspects of health and safety, resource planning, innovation integration, and technical quality assurance in their responses to Network Rail ITTs, including:

  • Processes to be followed, such as a RACI chart identifying key engineering appointments as per NR/L2/INI/02009
  • Details on effectively implementing EN 50126 / IEC 62278 – PRAMS
  • Guidance on conducting an independent root cause analysis (i.e., Failure Mode Analysis) of asset failures and utilizing the outputs from this analysis to prevent recurrence of such incidents
  • Details on integrating with NR’s Compliance & Assurance Requirements
