Activities & Deliverables
The Synergy Rail team produced an outlined concept of operation to support the bid proposal, including the following:
- Development of a procurement and funding strategy in collaboration with SERL, NR, and suppliers
- Production of a management and business change plan
- Development of the initial Operational Handbook
- Creation of an Outline Configuration Management Plan for the system, drawing on previous Traffic Management and complex software-based development experience
- Production of an outline Product Approval Plan, referencing the NR product approval process, associated standards, and the project's interaction with it throughout its lifecycle
- Development of a System Safety Plan based on extensive safety management and Traffic Management experience
- Establishment of an initial maintenance strategy covering the operational system
- Formulation of an initial training strategy
- Conducting a staff impact analysis
- Establishment of a risk model to facilitate the management of risks throughout the system development lifecycle
